China Suppliers Factory MBR1035 to MBR10200 Schottky Barrier Rectifier Diodes 10A 35V-200V TO-220 Package
Function
High-frequency rectification and low power loss
Conducted by majority carriers, there is no minority carrier storage effect. The reverse recovery time is extremely short (usually <500ns), with almost no reverse recovery spikes. This significantly reduces switching losses and EMI, making it suitable for topologies above 100kHz (such as flyback, LLC, synchronous rectification).
High current and low on-state loss
With a rated average forward current of 10A and a low forward voltage drop (typically 0.3~0.8V@10A), it minimizes on-state losses and improves the overall efficiency of power supplies, making it ideal for low-voltage and high-current output scenarios.
High surge current and impact resistance
The non-repetitive peak forward surge current can reach 100~150A (8.3ms pulse), which can cope with power supply startup, load mutation or capacitor charging shocks, avoiding damage caused by overcurrent.
Dual common-cathode integration
Models such as MBR1020CT and MBR1060CT adopt a dual common-cathode configuration, simplifying the full-wave rectification circuit of center-tapped transformers, reducing PCB area and device count, and improving power density.
